Large-scale installation of photovoltaic systems can intermittently supply electricity to the grid or cause frequent fluctuations in energy demand on the grid. Energy storage systems help regulate the balance between supply anddemand on the grid, ensuring grid stability.
A photovoltaic energy storage system can store excess solar energy in the system for use during peak demand periods, reducing excessive reliance on the grid. This helps avoid high peak electricity prices, optimize the utilization of renewable energy, and enable off-peak usage.
During power outages or grid failures, photovoltaic energy storage systems can provide backup power to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted electricity supply. By configuring the system properly, it can provide power throughout the day, regardless of weather conditions. This is particularly crucial for critical systems such as medical facilities or emergency services, where uninterrupted power supply is of utmost importance.
Energy management and smart control can be achieved through the integration of photovoltaic energy storage systems and heat pump air conditioning, allowing for intelligent control and optimization of the energy structure.While harvesting energy from the photovoltaic side, the system can also monitor the impact of outdoor sunlight intensity on the ambient temperature. Combined with the information on indoor temperature, humidity, moisture content, enthalpy, and more, obtained by the heat pump air conditioning, an AI intelligent algorithm can be used to execute the optimal operating conditions,maximizing the optimization of energy supply while ensuring a comfortable indoor environment.
The photovoltaic energy storage system stores excess energy from Part A and releases it during Part B and Part C time periods, maximizing the utilization of solar energy through rational allocation. At 10:00 AM, when the system detects a continuous increase in PV power generation while meeting the load and the battery is fully charged, it communicates with the heat pump system. The heat pump air conditioning will adjust to its maximum power operation, and the indoor temperature will reach the set minimum temperature(the lower limit temperature under the linkage mechanism). At this time, the excess energy will be stored in the building’s water circuit.
When the PV power decreases, the heat pump air conditioning will be notified to execute low-power operation. The energy storage+heat pump linkage mechanism will be disabled once the indoor temperature rises to the temperature set by the heat pump air conditioning, and control authority will be transferred to the autonomous control of the heat pump air.
